Job Summary
Accountant responsible for reviewing balance sheets and income statements, investigating general ledger variances, participating in month-end close processes, reconciling accounts, managing accruals, and acting as liaison between Financial Operations and Servicing Operations to ensure GAAP compliance and accurate financial reporting. Performs audit requests, analyzes manual and subsystem entries, and prepares financial statements in line with GAAP. Proficient with SAP/Oracle/Workday and BlackLine, including macros, pivot tables, and formulas; collaborates with stakeholders and supports cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience (preferred)
- 1+ years experience in a financial related field (preferred)
- Experience with SAP, Oracle, or Workday
- Familiarity with BlackLine or similar
- Understanding and interpreting both manual and subsystem entries
- Managing accruals, amortizations, and identifying inconsistencies
- Ensuring financial statements align with accounting standards
- Completing audit requests
- Bridging Financial and Servicing Operations
