Job Summary
Prepare and post monthly journal entries, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and assist in preparing financial statements for monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles. Actively participate in month-end and year-end close processes, identify variances, and produce various financial reports as directed. Evaluate accounting procedures to improve efficiency, strengthen internal controls, and reduce costs while collaborating with departments to resolve financial discrepancies. Ensure full compliance with GAAP and applicable laws and regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 1–3 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Ability to analyze and solve problems
- Ability to collaborate and work within a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail oriented, dependable, and punctual
- Adaptable to changing needs of the team
