Job Summary
Conduct daily gaming revenue audits for Cage, Video Lottery Terminals, Count Room, Racing, Food & Beverage, and Retail operations to ensure compliance with internal control standards. Prepare manual and computer-generated reports, input data according to established procedures, and research variances while notifying leadership of discrepancies. Provide W2G tax documents to guests upon request and assist with timely filing of gaming, state, local, and federal withholdings. Support the Accounting team through month-end close, monthly account reconciliation, and record retention. Available for on-demand requests from leadership as needed. Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold company policies, industry regulations, and department goals.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate with all levels of management in a clear, friendly, and confident manner
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis in Excel
- Must be able to get along with co-workers and work as a team
- Must present a well-groomed appearance
- Must be able to maneuver around office areas, effectively work in high traffic areas and respond to visual and aural cues
- Must have the manual dexterity to operate a computer and other necessary office equipment
- Must be self-motivated and be able to handle more than one function at a time by being well organized
- Good mathematical and strong aptitude for accurate record keeping
- Excellent customer service skills
- A minimum of 1-2 years of Accounting or related experience
- Must be able to obtain an Ohio Lottery Commission gaming license
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, with a major in Finance or Accounting preferred
- Familiarity of state regulations and generally accepted accounting principles preferred
