Job Summary
Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and general ledger reconciliations for multiple legal entities while owning designated balance sheet accounts and investigating discrepancies. Proactively support monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting deadlines. Analyze financial data and variances to provide management insights on trends, and prepare intercompany transactions, allocations, and eliminations across entities. Assist in consolidating financial statements, managing fixed asset records, and maintaining internal controls over financial reporting in compliance with GAAP. Collaborate cross-functionally with accounts payable, receivable, payroll, FP&A, and operations to ensure data consistency, and support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and resolving questions. Review work prepared by junior staff to provide coaching and technical guidance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
- Experience with ERP/accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Microsoft Dynamics)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling
- Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to reach overhead as needed
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds as needed
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to maintain attention to detail for extended periods
- Must be able to operate standard office equipment
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, if required
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
Desired Qualifications
- CPA or CPA track
- Experience with multi-entity accounting, consolidations, and intercompany transactions
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with finance, operations, and clinical teams
