Job Summary
Record oil and gas revenue for Texas properties, process natural gas plant allocations, and coordinate with the regulatory team to remit and report severance taxes and royalties. Prepare monthly revenue accruals, process invoices, monitor pipeline imbalances, and reconcile general ledger accounts while supporting audits. Review division of interest changes from Land Administration and respond to royalty owner inquiries. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting, 3+ years of oil and gas revenue accounting experience, and proficiency with MS Excel. SQL and MS Query knowledge is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution, including core accounting coursework
- 3+ years of experience in oil and gas revenue accounting or equivalent industry experience
- Strong understanding and ability to apply Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Proven analytical skills with the ability to present data clearly and accurately
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and collaborate effectively across teams
- Proficient with MS Excel
Desired Qualifications
- CPA certification is a plus
- Knowledge of SQL and MS Query a plus
