Job Summary
Manage the full spectrum of accounting functions including AR, AP, GL, and month-end/year-end closing while ensuring compliance with IFRS, local accounting standards, and CAE policies. Analyze costs, sales results, and actual performance to provide variance explanations and support monthly forecasting and budgeting. Reconcile the balance sheet, prepare financial packages for statutory reporting, and collaborate with auditors, tax consultants, and regional finance teams in Malaysia and Montreal. Ensure day-to-day operations of cost, cash, and P&L run smoothly with integrity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in finance or accounting
- Minimum 8 years in accounting and financial management practices
- Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment
- Proficiency with ERP accounting software
- Proficiency with excel & other MS tools
- IFRS and financial reporting technical skills
- CPA, ACCA, ICAEW, or MIA certification
Desired Qualifications
- Experience ideally in a multi-country environment in Asia
