Job Summary
Conduct month-end close activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations for inventory, deferred commissions, and complex bank arrangements. Demonstrate ownership of assigned accounts while collaborating with cross-functional teams across procure-to-pay, treasury, payroll, and order-to-cash processes. Identify weaknesses in the close process to champion and implement scalable process improvements. Apply operational accounting knowledge to support the global accounting team's next phase of growth at this publicly traded technology company.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting
- 2+ years relevant accounting experience
- Able to work with a high volume of transactions in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of operational accounting processes (accruals, account reconciliation, month end/year end close)
- Must be able to collaborate and communicate effectively
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Must have demonstrated English proficiency
- Must be a fast learner, multi-tasker with a strong desire to learn and a 'can do' attitude
- Must be able to collaborate and communicate effectively
- Critical thinker, able to implement scalable processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization skills with exceptional attention to detail and follow-through
- Experience with NetSuite
Desired Qualifications
- CPA (or equivalent) or interest in obtaining CPA (or equivalent)
- Experience working under strict deadlines and ensuring compliance with company policies
