Job Summary
Accountant II in the Alabama Division (Huntsville, AL) for Rogers Group, Inc. Maintain/update/publish weekly and monthly financial reports and dashboards; perform quantitative analysis of weekly reports; assist with month-end procedures and inventory management; analyze job costs and forecast construction projects; prepare justification for capital expenditures; contribute to annual business plans/forecasts; design/build analysis tools and new reporting using MS Excel and data mining tools; perform ad hoc analysis for stakeholders across the market area.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2-3 years relevant work experience
- Effective communication skills: written and inter-personal
- Technical expertise in Microsoft Office suites (especially Excel)
- Highly self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership
- Effective organizational skills to manage a dynamic workload
- Business analytics/data mining experience preferred
