Accountant II - Medical Device Industry

Job Summary
Review and verify vendor invoices daily, maintain master files, and manage expense reports through Expensify. Process monthly prepaid expense schedules, depreciation entries, and general ledger reconciliations. Assist with month-end and year-end close activities, prepare audit documentation, and submit Sunshine Act reporting. Monitor accounts payable and receivable aging reports, investigate discrepancies, and support collection efforts on delinquent accounts. Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal controls while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum 2 years of accounting experience
- Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Experience with month-end close and general ledger accounting
- Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Experience with Macola ERP or similar ERP systems
- Experience with Expensify expense management software or similar system
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including confident level in Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, creating formulas, and data analysis
- Ability to work in both an independent and team setting
- High level of professionalism and confidentiality
- Strong work ethic and accountability
