Job Summary
Accountant II to join Center Parc Credit Union's Corporate Accounting team. Responsibilities include performing complex reconciliations and analyses of general ledger accounts, preparing and reviewing journal entries and schedules for month-end and year-end close, assisting with regulatory filings and Call Reports, coordinating with internal and external auditors, ensuring GAAP and NCUA compliance, supporting process improvements, and mentoring Accounting Clerks and Accountant I staff. Requires 4-5 years of accounting experience, a related degree or equivalent work experience, and advanced Excel skills; prior credit union or Symitar experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field or 2 additional years specific work experience in lieu of degree
- 4 to 5 years of progressively responsible accounting experience
- Strong analytical, reconciliation, and reporting skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems
