Job Summary
Perform accounting and reporting tasks including audit, execute period end tasks for assigned entities, and perform reconciliation and clearing of accounts. Secure compliance with internal procedures and legislation while supporting the preparation of financial statements and tax reporting obligations. Proactively assist in identifying process improvements to maximize efficiency and lead implementation of medium-level complexity initiatives. Resolve queries raised by stakeholders and drive cross-functional cooperation to achieve overall goals. Work with limited guidance to determine information needed to resolve issues and manage pressure effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience
- Experience in working with IFRS and local standards
- Experience in Tax (Direct and Indirect) accounting and compliance
- Knowledge of Technology: MS Office
- Knowledge of Technology: SAP
- Strong communication skills
- Mature attitude towards challenges and problem solving
- Ability to work with limited guidance and able to determine information needed to resolve issues
- Ability to manage pressure effectively and cope well with setbacks
- Taking ownership of assigned responsibilities, including self-study/research needed to execute the same
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and changing priorities
- Continuous improvement mindset
- Team player
- Audit experience
- Degree in Finance/Accounting
- Additional Prof accounting certification
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Tax (Direct and Indirect) accounting and compliance is an advantage
- Knowledge of Technology: MS Office, SAP is an advantage
