Job Summary
Process and post resident, HOA, and agency payments accurately while monitoring resident accounts and supporting collections. Review accounts for discrepancies, assist with reconciliations, and apply charges to maintenance work orders per established policies. Respond to resident questions regarding balances and prepare documentation for collections, lease terminations, and evictions. Partner with Property Management, Field Services, and Accounts Payable to maintain accurate financial records. Monitor delinquent accounts, prepare late notices, and assist with annual Certificates of Rent Paid. This full-time, hourly role is based in Mankato, MN, with some evening or weekend work occasionally required. The team values innovation, collaboration, and accountability while delivering dependable financial management for residents and property owners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
- 1–3 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, accounting support, or a related role
- Working knowledge of basic accounting principles
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet recurring deadlines
