Job Summary
Manage daily recurring accounting duties, prepare journal entries in accordance with local GAAP, and ensure proper departmental coding. Execute monthly closing activities within established timelines, including cash reconciliations, payroll integration, and balance sheet account reconciliations. Follow internal controls to maintain accurate financial reporting and support special projects by providing information to other departments. This role is based out of Lincoln HQ or the Omaha office with a base salary range of $51,000—$85,000 USD.
Required Qualifications
- Accounting background
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Understanding of relevant accounting frameworks (like US GAAP, AUS GAAP or other international standards)
- Knowledge of the financial statement impact of various transactions
- Detail- and deadline-oriented mindset
- Ability to work well under monthly close deadlines
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Collaborative mindset
- Excitement to pitch in on strategic projects
- Willingness to help out other teams
- Willingness to jump in wherever needed
- Location based in Lincoln HQ or Omaha office
