Job Summary
Prepare financial and accounting activities completely and accurately, including complex analysis for external auditors and internal control documentation under Sarbanes-Oxley. Maintain domestic and international general ledgers by preparing journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and month-end close activities while ensuring adherence to all compliance requirements. Verify data accuracy, manage data entry in accounting systems, and develop standard operating procedures to support global initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Must-Have University degree (80% or more completion rate) in Accounting or Finance
- 3 – 5 years of experience in accounting in shared service center
- Relevant accounting experience, along with understanding of managing multi-national accounting operations
- Analytical and critical thinking skills, and attention to details
- Excellent oral, written, and overall communication skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize diverse workload, adapt to changing priorities and assignments
- Client Engagement and Customer Relationship Management skills
- English proficiency level required (verbal and written)
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Desired Qualifications
- CPI desired
- Experience using SAP or other resource planning systems strongly preferred
- Advance Portuguese level
