Job Summary
Accountant (Fixed Temp Contract) responsible for ERP GL entries for PRC at the Shanghai branch, monthly and quarterly government statistics reporting, VAT reconciliation between ERP and PRC books (E-Tax), assisting statutory audits and SAP implementation, and contributing to prior years’ WHT/VAT projects, with strong MS Office skills and SAP experience. Requires a bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting and at least 5 years of relevant work experience, English proficiency, and an initiative-driven, detail-oriented, cross-functional communicator who can work under pressure. Immediate availability preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance/Accounting major with minimum of 5 years’ relevant work experience.
- Obtaining certificate of financial/accounting profession is a plus.
- Sensitive to numbers, skilled in data analysis and problem-solving.
- Detail oriented, can work under pressure and communicate effectively across functional teams.
- MS Office skills, especially strong at Excel, PPT, Word; ERP (SAP) experience is mandatory.
- Solid experience in VAT especially Export VATIN Refund and E-Tax
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English
- Initiative, self-driven, well-organized and hardworking
