Accountant (Financial Reporting & Reconciliation)

Job Summary
Prepare fund accounting reports, dashboards, and deliverables while ensuring accurate data entry, timely transaction processing, and adherence to prescribed guidelines. Perform routine to moderately complex fund accounting calculations, validate supporting documents, and escalate incomplete or inconsistent information to senior team members. Follow quality control processes, risk mitigation efforts, and prescribed workflows, conducting self-reviews and maintaining operational checklists to ensure accuracy and compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, support client onboarding and change requests, and maintain strong knowledge of client-specific requirements, organizational processes, and standards. Contribute to process efficiency improvements, participate in training programs, and provide input to performance evaluations or UAT activities under guidance when requested. This developing accounting role focuses on low to medium complexity portfolios with moderate guidance, offering hybrid working arrangements and comprehensive development support.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 1.5 years of experience in fund accounting, financial reporting, performance analytics, or similar roles focused to low‐ to medium‐complexity portfolios
- Solid knowledge of accounting principles and reporting standards
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
- Ability to communicate and document processes clearly
- Ability to identify operational risks
- Ability to contribute to process improvements
- Proactive, problem‐solving mindset
Desired Qualifications
- CPA or equivalent certification
