Job Summary
Support the month-end closing process and related accounting activities while owning day-to-day transactional tasks, including accurate posting of journal entries for expenses and fixed assets. Assist with accounts payable by routing invoices for internal approval and ensure timely payments, alongside performing monthly supplier reconciliations. Monitor quarterly and contractor contracts to ensure compliance with accounting principles and company policies. Participate in developing and improving accounting processes and procedures. Requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, 4-6 years of experience, proficiency in Entersoft-Pylon, and fluency in English.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
- 4-6 years of experience in a similar accounting position
- Good knowledge of Greek Accounting Standards and myDATA requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other ERP accounting software (Entersoft-Pylon)
- Fluent in English
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
