Job Summary
Prepare and analyze general account reconciliations, perform corporate accounting functions including fixed asset management and deposit oversight, and manage lease accounting activities per ASC 842. Enter monthly lease and expense activity into Deltek Vantagepoint for payment processing, review annual operating cost settlements, and maintain lease records within the accounting system. Support M&A activities, distribute financial reports to leadership and business partners, and participate in special projects. Contribute to continuous improvement by leveraging AI and ERP systems to enhance processes. This Staff Accountant role is based in Omaha or Lincoln, NE, within DLR Group's Enterprise Accounting team.
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree or bachelor's degree in accounting
- Previous experience in a role with multiple property leases and recording entries consistent with the requirements of ASC 842
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience with AEC industry
- Ability to work cross-functionally within various operating systems
