Job Summary
The Accountant position at District HealthCare Services involves full cycle accounting, month-end and year-end closing, and financial statement preparation. Requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration with 2-3 years of experience, preferably in a non-profit environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration
- 2 - 3 years of experience in accounting; not-for-profit preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
- Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures, including a Non-Profit environment
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- High proficiency in QuickBooks
- Knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Additional Requirements
- Must provide evidence of a recent health assessment that includes a PPD and/or chest x-ray results
