Job Summary
Conduct daily financial activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established policies. Prepare monthly salary, time allocation, expense, and revenue reports; submit journal entries to the Regional General Ledger; and reconcile expenses, cash inventory, bank accounts, and month-end trial balances. Manage petty cash, issue checks to clients and vendors, track client payments, and develop budget analysis reports. Post financial transactions in the ERP system and train new staff on financial protocols and accounting software. Supervise the local Finance department's daily operations and maintain close collaboration with Regional Finance leadership.
Required Qualifications
- College graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Equivalent work experience with fund accounting in a non-profit environment
- A minimum of 4 years professional work experience
- Experience preferably in a non-profit fund accounting setting
- Working knowledge of payroll processing
- Strong analytical computer skills especially with Microsoft Excel or similar software
- Strong computer skills
- Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Detailed oriented
- Reference checks

- Motor vehicle background checks
