Job Summary
Oversee all US financial operations and controls, preparing monthly GAAP-aligned management accounts and owning P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting. Ensure integrity of the general ledger, coordinate US tax compliance including sales tax filings, and liaise with US CPAs, tax advisors, and auditors. Develop annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and performance analyses to support decision-making while optimizing QuickBooks Online workflows and designing scalable finance processes. Requires 5-7 years of experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Accountant with CPA qualification, working 9 to 5pm East Coast Time in a remote capacity. Required Qualifications
- Min 5-7 years Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Accountant supporting US entities
- CPA qualification required
- 9 to 5pm East Coast Time (USA)
- Exposure to US sales tax (multi-state preferred)
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Experience managing QuickBooks-based finance functions
- Strong analytical and stakeholder communication skills
- Proven experience in people management, team leadership, and overseeing finance/accounting operations
