Job Summary
Executes accounting tasks such as maintaining general ledger, month end closings, bank reconciliations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, reviewing standard costs, analyzing operational costs, and other accounting duties. Supports month end activities, treasury/cay cash management, and coordination with Sales and the Accounting team; provides back-up for AP/AR, prepares month end sales and gross margin reporting, aids external audit preparations, performs cost rolls and labor/overhead rate updates, reviews inventory and manufacturing variances, and conducts ad hoc reporting and various analyses.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. degree in Accounting
- 10+ years' experience in accounting with progressive levels of experience and responsibility
- 2+ years of experience with SAP
- Cost Accounting experience
- Ability to understand the accounting process through the general ledger
- Ability to successfully function within an accounting system
- Strong problem resolution skills and detailed oriented
- Ability to multi-task
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written
