Job Summary
On-site Accountant at City Wide Franchise responsible for GAAP-compliant general ledger, journal entries (accruals, prepaids, intercompany), monthly balance sheet reconciliations, and support for monthly/quarterly closes and year-end close. Develop internal financial reporting packages, assist audits and tax reviews, maintain internal controls, manage fixed assets, and contribute to process improvements and system enhancements (Business Central a plus). Requires Bachelor’s in Accounting and 2–5 years of accounting experience; CPA or CPA candidate preferred; strong GAAP knowledge, Excel/Outlook proficiency, and experience with automated accounting systems. Collaborates with teams to support business goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 2–5 years of progressive accounting experience
- CPA or CPA candidate preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
- Experience with automated accounting systems
- Business Central experience strongly preferred
