Job Summary
Review and verify vendor invoices, ensuring accurate coding, approvals, and timely payment processing. Support project billing activities by preparing customer invoices and monitoring billings against project budgets and contractual milestones. Complete monthly project work-in-progress reconciliations, participate in WIP review meetings, and assist with revenue recognition, financial close, and project closeout procedures. Coordinate employee expense processing through Concur and support SOX compliance, external audits, and tax filings. Collaborate with finance and operational teams across regions to provide accounting support. This role requires three years of professional accounting experience, preferably in project-based or energy environments, with strong Excel skills and SAP proficiency. Portuguese is strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Educational background in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- At least three years of professional accounting experience, ideally within a project-based, construction, engineering, energy, or similarly fast-paced environment
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to both finance and non-finance stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities while meeting reporting and month-end deadlines
