Job Summary
Accountant for BDO’s Business Services team in Sydney. Provide professional accounting services to a diverse client base, including family-owned businesses and significant global entities. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, work papers, income tax and FBT returns, tax planning and compliance across quarterly and annual cycles, preparation of management accounts, and advisory on business operations and regulatory matters. Role involves supervising junior staff, maintaining client relationships, and leveraging MS Office and accounting software (Xero and SAP desirable).
Required Qualifications
- CA or CPA Qualification or partly completed
- 1 to 2 years of Business Services or Tax experience (ideally from a mid-tier sized firm)
