Job Summary
Prepare financial statements in line with accounting standards and review management accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency. Apply knowledge of client, firm, and industry trends to assist in resolving accounting issues and prepare clear work papers evidencing work performed. Support tax compliance procedures, including preparing income tax returns for individuals, companies, and trusts, while completing required regulatory forms accurately before lodgment deadlines. This role involves analyzing financial data to support client decision-making and long-term business success within a collaborative professional services environment.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years' experience in a similar accounting role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team
- Business or Commerce degree with an Accounting major
- Commenced (or intention to commence) CA or equivalent qualification
