Job Summary
Accountant / Bookkeeper to manage all accounting transactions including A/P, A/R, payroll, and bank reconciliations; prepare monthly/quarterly/annual financial statements; handle tax filings and compliance for various locations; develop budgets and forecasts; audit transactions for accuracy; maintain data confidentiality and backups; collaborate with other departments to align on financial operations. Requires Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance, 2+ years of accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, QuickBooks proficiency, advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables), and ability to work both independently and in a team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of experience as an Accountant
- Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
- Advanced MS Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Experience with tax filing and compliance procedures (a plus)
