Job Summary
Part-time Accountant role supporting an international company with operations focused on France and the Netherlands, including 801 France and 801 Italy, with responsibilities spanning day-to-day accounting (General ledger, AP/AR, bank reconciliations), monthly reporting, cross-border transactions, budgeting/forecasting, and process improvement in a flexible, evolving structure. Requires a formal accounting degree and at least 5 years of accounting experience in international settings; proficiency with Sage/Excel and English is required, with French or Italian a bonus. Hybrid or remote work is possible depending on location, with an arrangement of 3 days in the Utrecht office for Utrecht-based activities. Opportunity to grow into a full-time role in the future. Required Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting (Bac Pro/BTS) or equivalent
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in accounting
- Strong knowledge of French accounting standards and tax regulations
- Experience dealing with cross-border financial flows and foreign stakeholders
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage, or equivalent) and Excel
- Language skills: Fluency in English; proficiency in Italian or French a bonus
