Job Summary
Part-time Accountant to support an international company with operations focused on the French and Italian subsidiaries, primarily in the Netherlands. Manage day-to-day accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations; participate in monthly reporting; handle cross-border transactions and foreign stakeholders; assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis; help structure and improve accounting processes in a flexible environment; collaborate with head office in Berkeley as needed. Requires a degree in Accounting or equivalent, at least 5 years of accounting experience, proficiency with Sage and Excel, and strong English; French or Italian language skills are a bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting (Bac Pro/BTS), Finance, or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of French accounting standards and tax regulations
- Experience with cross-border financial flows and foreign stakeholders
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Sage) and Excel
- Fluency in English; French or Italian is a bonus
