Job Summary
Accountant to join QIC's Finance, Alternative Investments team on a full-time, permanent basis in Brisbane. You will record and process investment-related transactions and valuations, maintain compliance with investment mandates and regulatory reporting, monitor and reconcile cash flow, prepare month-end workpapers, reconcile balances and investment data, and support reporting requirements, year-end financial statements, and audits. You will work closely with senior team members on operational tasks, reporting, and various business initiatives, leveraging attention to detail, independence in a flexible, fast-paced environment, and strong communication within a collaborative team. The role emphasizes hybrid working options and a family-inclusive workplace, with wellbeing, leave, and flexible holiday options.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Commerce, or equivalent
- CA or CPA qualification (completed or in progress)
- Experience in financial services, consulting, or investment management
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
