Job Summary
Accounting & Compliance Specialist processes Workday transactions for compliance and accuracy; prepares and posts accounting journals and budget amendments; prepares various financial reports (state, federal, and ad-hoc); assists with year-end processes and general ledger reconciliations; supports data gathering for fiscal year budget and implementation of new processes; ensures adherence to GAAP and applicable laws; performs other accounting duties as assigned; requires ability to establish and reconcile accounting records and reports and proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Required Qualifications
- The formal education equivalent of a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or related field
