Job Summary
Accountant responsible for day-to-day accounting activities including AP/AR, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Owns invoice processing, payment tracking, and GL coding, with experience in Bill.com and major accounting platforms. Supports month-end/year-end close, audits and tax filings; collaborates with operations to align financial and project data; strong emphasis on internal controls and process improvements in a fast-paced environment. Preferred exposure to construction/HVAC or project-based settings and experience with bank/credit card reconciliations, Positive Pay, and financial statement preparations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–6+ years of accounting experience
- Hands-on AP/AR and general ledger
- Experience with Bill.com, QuickBooks, Sage or similar systems
- Strong accounting principles and financial reporting
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
