Job Summary
Perform a variety of accounting assignments including account analysis, reconciliation, report preparation, and business volume and billing. Process all sales orders for specific assigned areas, handle lease buyouts, and perform manual general ledger transactions to clear book value from inventory. Calculate, prepare, and transfer monthly payments to lending institutions, reconcile bank balances, and resolve discrepancies with outside auditors. Maintain and reconcile inventory, repurchase assets from banks, and prepare monthly inventory reports for year-end audits. Complete month-end depreciation processes, assist in preparing budgets and tax work papers, and collaborate with other departments on special financial studies. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 2-4 years of experience, involves an 8-hour shift in a typical office environment, and offers competitive compensation including health benefits, 401K, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years related experience
- Bachelor's degree (Accounting)
- Non-degree considered if 12+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED
- Occasional travel (0-5%)
- Occasional overnight stays (0-5%)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting, with two or more years prior experience in an accounting department
- Good communication skills and problem-solving capabilities
