Job Summary
Accountant role (1-year fixed-term contract) within Finance at TP ICAP, handling broker compensation accounting and financial close & reporting. Responsibilities include delivering monthly/quarterly/year-end close, posting journal entries, reconciliations, P&L/balance sheet analysis, management reporting, and supporting audits and regulatory reporting. Will drive automation and standardisation (e.g., Alteryx) and collaborate with Front Office, HR, Payroll, and global teams. Required: ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification, experience in close/reporting/reconciliations, strong financial controls, and Advanced Excel; desirable: broker compensation/payroll experience, knowledge of Oracle/SAP/OneStream/Alteryx.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
- Experience in financial close, reporting, and reconciliations
- Strong understanding of accruals, journals, and financial controls
- Advanced Excel and financial systems proficiency
