Job Summary
Manage a portfolio of owner managed businesses, sole traders, and partnerships by preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, corporation tax, personal tax returns, and VAT work. Act as the primary client contact to provide ongoing support and advice while reviewing bookkeeping completed by the team. Support the Partner with operational management, workflow deadlines, and process improvements. Mentor junior staff and participate in client advisory meetings. This independent practice in Sittingbourne serves a loyal client base with a focus on long-term relationship building and a supportive working environment.
Required Qualifications
- ACA or ACCA qualified, or qualified by experience
- extensive experience working within an accountancy practice environment
- experience managing a client portfolio independently
- comfortable preparing and reviewing accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT work
- experience supervising or managing junior staff members
- highly organised
- excellent communication skills
