Job Summary
Coordinates the fall, winter, and spring SOL assessment program (including VAESOL and VAAP); attends state/district training for SOL test administration; serves as site coordinator for NAEP and WIDA testing; manages test materials and security; collaborates with building-level staff to prepare for test administrations; develops school-wide testing schedules and determines testing needs; provides training on test administration and data analysis; coordinates testing accommodations with Special Education and EL staff; ensures computer readiness for online testing; analyzes test data to support remediation and instruction; communicates SOL resources and changes in testing requirements; performs related duties including student supervision as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree preferred
- Eligible for or hold a Virginia license
- Minimum of 3 years of successful full-time experience as a teacher or school counselor at the middle or high school level
