Job Summary
Account Technical Executive (ATX) at Cadence engages with customers to maximize and monetize Cadence System Design solutions by understanding complex customer challenges and optimizing architectures for systems and IC design flows. Partners with strategic account sales and Cadence teams to translate customer needs into actionable improvements across domains including electromagnetic analysis, thermal analysis, PCB/module design, and IC design tools. Demonstrates deep knowledge of EDA tools, MBSE concepts, multi-physics simulation, and system-level trade-offs to drive roadmap alignment and long-term value, while fostering relationships across customer organizations and addressing time-to-market, cost, risk, thermal, electrical, electromagnetic, and signal integrity considerations. Travel up to 25% in Western NA; location: San Jose, CA. Salary range for CA is $248,000–$372,000 with potential incentives, benefits, and programs.
Required Qualifications
- BSEE (MSEE highly desirable)
- Technical background as per the qualifications above
- 5-10 years Mixed Signal and/or Custom IC engineering experience
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Interaction and collaboration in a customer environment
- Ability to travel (mainly western NA) 25%
