Account Supervisor, Public Relations

Job Summary
Lead day-to-day PR accounts across multiple client programs, building trusted client relationships, shaping media strategy, and guiding integrated campaigns. Own and command client relationships through meetings and outcomes, develop timelines and budgets, coordinate cross-functional teams, mentor junior staff, and deliver high-impact content including press materials and executive messaging. Identify opportunities for client growth, contribute to new business efforts, and ensure work is delivered on time, on budget, and with measurable results.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field
- 5–7 years of relevant experience in public relations, communications, client services, or account management, preferably within an agency environment
- Strong media relations experience, including media strategy, pitching, interview coordination, briefing preparation, and securing meaningful media opportunities
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics and create succinct, compelling, high-impact content
- Experience developing or guiding strategic communications plans, integrated campaigns, content programs, and executive visibility initiatives
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, budgets, timelines, client expectations, and cross-functional resources
- Strong verbal communication and presentation skills, including the ability to lead persuasive meetings and clearly articulate account strategy, client positioning, and recommended next steps
- Experience mentoring, coaching, or supervising junior team members; direct supervisory experience is a plus
