Job Summary
Account Specialist at Sentry in Stevens Point, WI. Serves as primary point of contact and resource for designated producers, customers, and/or agents within the territory; acts as a relationship builder to connect internal teams, customers, and agents to form positive relationships. Partners with producers to service existing book and identify opportunities for partner placement. Manages service-related items (calls, emails, faxes), provides proactive service needs (quoting, renewals, policy changes, billing, audits), and creates new and renewal applications for smaller businesses. Coordinates with underwriting and other departments to gather underwriting requirements and customer documents/signatures. Requires Associate degree or equivalent, 2+ years of related experience, and Property & Casualty license (must obtain within 120 days of hire). Hybrid work model with Stevens Point, WI office; travel on a limited basis. Includes benefits such as 401(k), education reimbursement, PTO, and comprehensive insurance offerings.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of related work experience
- Property & Casualty License required; if not licensed, must obtain within 120 days of hire
- Prior Commercial Lines insurance experience desired
- Ability to travel on a limited basis
- Strong PC skills and ability to quickly learn a variety of software applications
- Composure, strong customer service skills and ability to build and maintain relationships
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment and work independently
Desired Qualifications
