Job Summary
Account Specialist for Spasticity & Movement Disorders in Manhattan North area promotes AbbVie products to community practices and health systems, building relationships with neurology, pain medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation, primary care, and pharmacy accounts; role includes training residents/fellows and hospital personnel, delivering anatomical/procedural information, coordinating with other specialists to conduct trainings, and traveling within assigned territory while meeting sales goals. Requires ability to present/train diverse audiences, understand training, clinical, reimbursement needs, and proficient use of anatomical terminology; Bachelor's degree in health/sciences/pharmacy or business field or equivalent experience preferred with HCIR credentialing requirements, valid driver's license, willingness to travel, and experience in Buy & Bill or Specialty Pharmacy is desirable. Compensation range provided with comprehensive benefits; field-based, with relocation not specified.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required
- Relevant and equivalent industry experience required in lieu of a bachelor’s degree is at least five (5) years of technical experience with three (3) or more years of experience within sales preferred
- Ability to lift/pull 25–100 lb. training models and meet necessary hospital credentialing/vaccination requirements
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel overnight for training events and sales meetings
- HCIR credentialing requirements to enter facilities and organizations in territory
