Job Summary
Account Specialist in the Finance department supporting the Head – Accounting & Reporting. Responsibilities include assisting in accounting functions such as monitoring accounts payable, payroll, general ledger preparation, taxation, and preparation of financial statements per IFRS; ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance (CMA, Ministry of Finance, OCI). Prepare P&L and balance sheet for the group, facilitate internal and external audits, ensure adherence to internal policies across HR, vendor payments, and finance, and prepare monthly MIS to reflect the company’s financial position. Requires proficiency in IFRS, SAP, and MS Excel, with 5+ years of relevant experience and a Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Semi qualified ACCA/Chartered/Cost Accountants
- 5+ years of experience in finance department of a large organization
- Experience with IFRS and regulatory reporting (CMA, Ministry of Finance, OCI)
- Proficiency in SAP and MS Office (Excel)
- Strong accounting, analytical, and communication skills
