Job Summary
Account Specialist serving as the first point of contact for customers by phone or in person, handling parking-related questions, processing payments and deposits, performing data entry and maintenance of the customer database, generating invoices, and coordinating with Parking Ambassadors and Ops Managers. Responsibilities include greeting customers at the front counter, answering and transferring calls, processing credit card payments, performing general office duties, setting up new accounts, maintaining inventory, and ensuring accurate documentation and communication across channels. Requires proficiency in MS Office (Excel), dependability, integrity, and strong verbal/written communication, plus ability to work start time and pass background checks.
Required Qualifications
- Greet and assist customers at the front counter
- Answer, take messages and transfer calls
- Process and apply credit card payments
- General office duties such as typing, filing, sorting, scanning, and distribution of company mail
- Data entry and maintenance of customer database
- Invoice adjustments
- Order office supplies and maintain inventory
- Process checks and prepare daily deposits
- Set up new accounts
- Generate and mail monthly invoices
- Communicate with Parking Ambassadors and Ops Managers for on or off-street issues
- Process account cancellations
- Assist with general questions and issues through the ParkOmaha website
- Proficient with MS Office with emphasis on Excel
- Pass a background check and drug test
