Account Specialist(Outside Sales)

Job Summary
Review and process requisitions, enter data orders into AIT and customer systems to obtain quotes, issue purchase orders, and maintain blanket purchase orders. Evaluate part number changes through the MSSR function, notify customers of obsolete items, and identify duplicate stock codes. Work with service centers to collect backlog reports, expedite orders, and resolve receiving issues. Monitor product warranty problems, track cost savings, and provide product sourcing assistance. Maintain lead times and address specific problem notifications. Requires a bachelor's degree, 3–5 years of industry experience, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Equivalent to bachelor's degree in business, sales or marketing related fields
- 3 to 5 years' industry related work experience
- Proven experience in developing new business, building repeat business, and managing a sales territory
- Relationship-building skills at all levels with customers and prospect organizations
- Hands-on product demonstrations for customers and prospects
- Mechanical aptitude
- Valid driver's license
- Satisfactory driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a related field of Applied product – bearings, power transmission components, fluid power, general industrial supplies, etc.
