Job Summary
Manage customer inventory levels and support the VMI program for NEFCO's customers. Deploy and train clients on VMI technology such as barcode scanning, RFID, IoT-enabled devices, and cloud-based inventory platforms; analyze usage data to forecast demand and optimize stock; act as primary contact for VMI accounts, conducting site visits and reviews to improve performance; collaborate with sales for VMI opportunities and ensure timely replenishment through coordination with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams; generate reports on product usage and inventory turnover to support decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3+ years of experience in sales, inventory control, or supply chain, ideally within construction or industrial distribution
- Demonstrated experience with VMI technologies such as industrial vending, barcode scanning systems, RFID, mobile inventory applications, or ERP-integrated VMI tools
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory software platforms
- Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to travel to customer sites regularly
