Account Specialist I

Collect outstanding insurance and self-pay dollars through direct interactions with payers and patients. Process daily account balances based on customer specialty and unique billing requirements, while resolving incorrect payments and working on insurance denials to identify errors and resubmit claims. Prepare monthly status reports for senior management and track statistics to reduce accounts receivable. Respond to written and oral inquiries from customers and insurance companies, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided to internal and external stakeholders.
