Job Summary
Promote AbbVie's chronic migraine product to community practices, hospitals, health systems, and government accounts while meeting sales goals. Deliver expert training on anatomical procedures and injection paradigms to neurology, pain medicine, and primary care professionals, including residents and fellows. Identify customer needs for training, clinical, or operational support and address them using AbbVie resources. Manage field assets, comply with all promotional policies and reports, and execute the U.S. Marketing Plan. Travel adequately for territory coverage and overnight training events. Lift 25–100 lb. training models and maintain HCIR credentialing, including background checks, drug screens, and vaccinations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred or relevant and equivalent industry experience required
- Relevant and equivalent industry experience required in lieu of a bachelor's degree is at least five (5) years of technical experience with three (3) or more years of experience within sales preferred and a high school diploma/GED required
- Ability to lift/pull 25–100 lb. training models and meet necessary hospital credentialing/vaccination requirements
- Ability to travel adequately to cover territory, as well as overnight attendance at scheduled training events and sales meetings
- An essential requirement of your position is to satisfy all applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements to gain and maintain entry into facilities and organizations that are in your assigned territory
- You must also be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain these credentials
- These HCIR credentialing requirements may include, but are not limited to, background checks, drug screens, proof of immunization/vaccination for various diseases, fingerprinting and specific licenses required by individual state or cities
Desired Qualifications
- Documented history of strong sales performance, preferably in a clinical/technical/consultative sales role with multiple decision makers is preferred
- Ability to manage a complex sell, learn procedural, technical, clinical, and anatomical information quickly and communicate/present/train to a variety of audiences
