Job Summary
Account Specialist responsible for planning, implementing, and executing target industry marketing programs, calling on engineers, maintenance, and purchasing with a consultative selling approach; manage requisitions, quotes, purchase orders, and part changes, maintain lead times and backlog, expedite orders, and provide product sourcing support. Requires a bachelor’s degree in business/sales/marketing and 3–5 years of sales-related experience; must have a valid driver’s license. Strong relationship-building, product demonstrations, and cross-functional coordination with service centers, warehouses, and customers are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Equivalent to bachelor’s degree in business, sales or marketing related fields
- 3 to 5 years’ industry related work experience
- Relationship-building skills at all levels with customers and prospect organizations
- Hands-on product demonstrations for customers and prospects; mechanical aptitude
- Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record are essential
- Preferred: Experience in related field of Applied product – bearings, power transmission components, fluid power, general industrial supplies, etc.
