Account Service Representative (Personal Banker)

Job Summary
Meet members to determine banking and lending needs, recommend appropriate accounts and loan types, and assist with enrolling in credit union products, certificates, IRAs, and HSAs. Complete required documents accurately for both account and lending transactions while maintaining active knowledge bases of policies and procedures. Perform various member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments; balance cash drawers and machines; and answer telephone inquiries. Serve as a Notary Public and Signature Guarantor, open and close safe deposit boxes, and function as a back-up Teller/Member Service Representative. Rotate through Saturday manager duties, open and close the office as needed, and make outbound calls to inquire about lending needs.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Ability to travel to other office locations when needed
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to do some heavy lifting
- 1-2 years of cash handling experience
