Job Summary
Conduct daily computer entry of customer orders, oversee EDI transactions, and maintain current knowledge of client promotional deals and pay terms. Handle customer inquiries, problems, and complaints while conveying back order information and processing client claims for damages or loss in transit. Advise and enforce client minimum order quantity guidelines and order increments to ensure desired quantities are ordered. Maintain and verify inventory, forward information to clients, and edit customer returns once authorization is received. Communicate daily with clients to provide requested information and process credit releases for identified hold customers. This detail-oriented role supports Lynden International Logistics ULC's mission of putting the customer first in third-party logistics solutions for human and animal health.
Required Qualifications
- Secondary school diploma
- 3+ years' in customer service or equivalent combination of education, experience and training
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills and pleasant telephone manner
- Good interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with clients, customers, staff and management
- Attention to detail
- Day shift position, Monday to Friday
