Job Summary
This training role is designed to prepare the Account Sales Trainee to support sales initiatives and cover ASM routes during vacations or special projects. The AST will work with management to maintain customer relationships between sales, merchandising and operations for large and small format off-premise stores, deliver documentation and paperwork, monitor competitor activities, and achieve monthly KPIs for sales, distribution, pricing, display, new accounts, and merchandising. Responsibilities include training with ASMs, operating company vehicles in accordance with laws, maintaining invoices and documentation, ensuring equipment is clean, communicating across the team, building the brand, and performing other duties as assigned. Required skills include strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal and organizational abilities, time management, problem solving, and integrity. Education and experience emphasize a high school diploma or equivalent, background and drug testing clearance, ability to obtain a medical DOT certification, with prior sales experience and beverage market knowledge preferred.
